Jekar Moments of the Week

This will be part of my blog. Jekar, one of my university friends... well, to put it bluntly and not trying to insult certain people out there... SHE'S AN ASIAN BLONDE. But she studies harder than me.

She has these certain... lines... that comes out of her mouth that just elicites so much joy. It's a ritual. So I have decided to have... JEKAR MOMENTS OF THE WEEK!

So for this week... we have... the following:

JUST TODAY

After having a small chat with Sammy aka Sennheiser Man, everybody started asking why we started giving him that nickname. Reason being that, during Tamaki times in our course, we always see him with Sennheiser headphones around his neck. She also explicitly told Amy about those headphones.

JEKAR: "What are Sennheisers?"

Sammy jumps up in the air looking incredulous and amazed at the same time. We all laugh. A lot. For a long time. 2 hours later after clicking..

JEKAR: "Aww... those things!"

(sidenote: Sammy just showed her a picture of the headphones... and she coyly gave it a thumbs up)

The Vodafone Prank

Me and Amy decided to pull a prank on Jekar. I have to say, it was Amy's decision, as she was the trusted handler of the device namely her mobile phone.

We decided to pull the 'Vodafone Prank' on her, where I change the my name on her phonebook to 'Vodafone'. the SMS Messages went like this:

VODAFONE: Congratulations! You have won a Nokia E65 for our luckly monthly draw. For more info txt bak or visit www.vodafone.co.nz for our terms n conditions
JEKAR'S REPLY: INFO
VODAFONE: Congratulations! We will need the following information. Are you over 18? Txt bak YES or NO
JEKAR'S REPLY: Yes
VODAFONE: Do you have sexual relations or intend to have one with mexico?

At which point she screams outside Lab 04, then comes into Lab 04...more swearing and screaming.. at which point this girl walks out of the labs. More screaming, and pouting.

Ah yes. This being namely Jekar is something where you have to expect the unexpected. On another sidenote, another one of her famous quotes would be: "You sell food at your restaurant?!" AND "Is Vancouver in Fiji?"

Please be aware that she is also a very nice person with an obsession for shoes
