My back. Is sore. In between the unhealthiness, the occasional lifting of stuff at work, the sitting in front of the computer and finally SLEEPING in front of the computer in an awkward position (I guess we can throw in age in this list), I now have problems that are not supposed to be with me til I'm in my 70s (least I hope it will be that long til I have this problem).
I went to a massage parlour to see if they can relax the muscles a bit. Oh my gosh, it was heavenly. $40 for half an hour having the top half of your body massaged... including arms and head! I had a temple massage, oh it was SO good. But that didn't fix the problem and was finally told to go to the doctors. Doctor prescribed me Norflax (not sure if that's how you spell it) which helps with muscle spasms and pains. He believes that it was a posture problem from staying in the same position for hours on end, and something about my nerves latched onto my spinal discs or something which is what is causing the immense pain I'm having when I twist a certain angle or apply pressure to it. He also mentions that if the pain persists by the end of this weekend and hasn't gotten any better, then I'll have to sign up for physiotherapy which I'm really not looking forward to a that's coming out of my pocket (however, I could charge ACC).
I think they main point of the main reason as to why my back is sore is because... well, let's face it. I'm am definitely at my most unhealthy point in my life. Do I exercise? No, though I do walk a lot. I would like to think I'm cardiovascularly healthy as I can beat my sister in terms of length when we go jogging, but I definitely know I'm not physically fit. So, time for a change.
Behold, my motivation pictures taken 4-5 years ago when I was at my most healthy point in life both cardio and physical:

Oh how nice it would have been to be young again. *cough cough*NO MORE LAZY ELYSE... Goal is to go back to a size 8/10/12 BEFORE graduation (assuming I pass my papers this semester).
